James & Wells IP Attorneys – A Workspace Redefined‍

James & Wells IP Attorneys approached us to reimagine their workspace at Union Square. With their existing office no longer meeting their needs, the goal was to design a modern, efficient workplace that aligned with their vision and team dynamics.

The new design centers on a welcoming and versatile front-of-house area, featuring a staff and hosting kitchen, dining spaces, lounges, and meeting rooms. This space serves as a vibrant hub for daily activities, as well as larger team and client gatherings, fostering connection and collaboration.

Given a reduced footprint, traditional private offices were no longer feasible. To address this, we introduced innovative "Work Suites" – semi-private spaces tailored to provide each lawyer with their own focused environment. Complementing these are adjacent focus rooms, perfect for confidential calls and quiet work.

The James & Wells brand personality is seamlessly woven into the design through bold, blue-stained cedar wall finishes and accents of their signature brand colors in handle details and upholstery. This thoughtful integration reinforces their identity throughout the space.

The result is a workplace that not only reflects the ethos of James & Wells but also supports their team in doing their best work. The new environment enhances team satisfaction, fosters retention, and serves as a compelling space to attract top talent
