We had the recent privilege of designing the upgrade to Novotel Tainui's meeting, conference rooms and lobby spaces. Owned by @tainuigroupholdings and operated by @accor the project extended the established design narrative of the journey of tuna (eels) and our mighty Waikato awa as inspiration for interiors, materiality and artworks. Special credit to @renatataiawa Waikato Tainui's Head Carver for creating the tuna and awa inspired artworks that we used on the glass artworks throughout.
